About Miss Saigon
Set in Saigon in 1975 during the final days of the American occupation, Miss Saigon tells the tragic love story of Kim, a young Vietnamese woman, and Chris, an American GI.
Orphaned by the war, Kim is forced to work as a bar girl at a nightclub owned by The Engineer, a notorious wheeler-dealer. When Chris meets Kim, their lives are changed forever, with the events of the war continuing to shape their story long after they are separated.
With its powerful story, memorable music and spectacular production, Miss Saigon is one of the best-known musicals from the creators of Les Misérables.
