The story starts on the factory floor in Northampton and progresses to the Catwalks of Milan. Charlie Price is struggling to meet his father’s expectations and continue the family business ‘Price & Son’, instead he wants to go to London and become a high flyer. With the shoe factory and company hanging in the balance, help arrives from an unlikely source in the form of Lola (played by Johannes Radebe of Strictly Come Dancing), a fabulous performer who needs some new stilettos.
With the help of the Soho drag queen, Charlie aims to revolutionise the face of cross-gender footwear.
