Cirque du Soleil will be returning to London in 2017 for its latest production ‘Amaluna’, this touring show is loosely inspired by Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’. The story takes place on an island governed by goddesses and during a storm a group of men are washed up on shore.

The play explores the trials of love and features a cast mainly made up of female acrobats. Acts throughout the magical show including Hoop Diving, Aerial Hoop, Waterbowl hand balancing (as seen on the Royal Variety Show 2015), uneven bars, Chinese pole and much more.

Hurry, this spectacle is only in London for a limited time between 20th January – 6th March so be sure to catch it whilst you can.

Back in 1984 when Cirque du Soleil began, only 73 people worked for the brand. Today there are more than 5,000 employees worldwide which include more than 1,300 performers.
