In August 2017, BBC Countryfile will be brought to life in a new major live countryside event hosted by the team of Countryfile presenters. The four day spin off event will be taking place in the grounds of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. The event will feature exhibits, talks and activities whilst working in partnership with the National Trust.
BBC’s Countryfile is the most watched factual TV programme with around 7 million viewers tuning in weekly to watch.
Countryfile Live will display the very best of living in our countryside and bring the education and entertainment offered on the show to the visitors. Countryfile Live will allow visits to explore each aspect of the British Countryside through a series of hands-on activities, talks and interactive features during the show.
Follow your food from the farm to the kitchen table with the Farming in Action exhibit plus meet some of Britain’s rarest breeds from Adam’s Farm. You’ll also have the chance to see some prize livestock, traditional farming and craft demonstrations.
For those looking to enjoy a more culinary experience, have a pint in Britain’s largest pub Garden or enjoy an ice cream from the Ice Cream Parlour. With over 500 exhibitors offering food, crafts and gardening – Countryfile Live offers an experience like no other.
Packages start from £209 and include admission to Countryfile Live at Blenheim Palace, a visit to Stratford-upon-Avon, two nights dinner, bed and breakfast accommodation plus coach travel throughout.
