New for 2017 the Chatsworth Flower Show was the first new Royal Horticultural Society Flower Show in over a decade. The Chatsworth Flower Show is set within the parklands of the Chatsworth Estate.
The theme of the 2017 show was ‘Design Revolutionaries' and it celebrated the creativity of garden designers and gardeners. The show will focus on cutting-edge design, with lots of new fresh innovative ideas. It also featured new category created called 'FreeForm' which encourages sculptural designs for visitors to enjoy.
The show will be laid out to reflect the natural curves of the Peak District landscape instead of the traditional grid system used at other popular RHS shows. There will be a vast marquee – The Great Conservatory which is used to house specialist plants and displays which is visible from all parts of the Showground. Inside, there is a chance to explore mini plant themed habitats such as woodland, Mediterranean and jungle.
Coach packages to flower shows tend to include coach travel throughout, a hotel stay including breakfast, entrance ticket to the Chatsworth Flower Show and some itineraries will include additional excursions.
