Coach Holidays to Isles of Scilly

The Isles of Scilly lie just 28 miles off the rugged coast of Cornwall but feel a world away from the mainland. The Isles are a subtropical paradise not to be missed, filled with rich history, impressive archaeology, rugged coastlines and stunning sweeping sea.

There five inhabited islands - St. Mary's, Tresco, St. Martin's, Bryher and St. Agnes plus countless uninhabited ones and each has its own distinct characteristics.

St. Mary’s – this is the largest of the Scilly isles but it is still less than 2.5 square miles and with only 6 miles of roads. Hugh Town, the capital, located between two sandy beaches and is the hub of the Isles of Scilly with pubs, shops, banks, post office and a museum about Island life.

Tresco – the second largest of the isles and the only island to be privately owned. It is often listed as one of the Top Ten Islands in the World and it is easy to see why with its subtropical climate, beautiful sandy beaches, bronze age burial sites and castle ruins. Tresco is also home to the famous Abbey Gardens, home to more then 20,000 exotic plants from all over the world and many of which cannot be grown anywhere else in Great Britain.

St. Agnes – located on the most south westerly end of the Isles of Scilly, this island is one of the last parts of England before you reach America

Bryher – this is an island of contrasts with calm sandy beaches on one side and wild Atlantic waves on the other.

St Martin’s – home to some of the most idyllic beaches in the British Isles if not the world, this Island is one of the most picturesque of all the isles.
