Morning departure from your local pickup point, we make our way to Eastbourne arriving late afternoon.
From iconic tourist attractions to the beautiful beach, Brighton is a treasure trove of things to do and is our destination today. Popular places of interest include the stunning heritage of the Royal Pavilion, Regency architecture and Victorian aquariums to the seaside fun of Brighton Pier, the Brighton Wheel and the famous pebble beach, Brighton offers something for every walk of life.
Travelling along the coast today we visit Hastings, one of the medieval Cinque Ports. Now home to the largest beach-launched fishing fleet in Europe, it has the remains of the first castle in England to be built by William the Conqueror. Hastings is really three towns in one, joined by a level promenade as you have the Old Town to the east, the bustling contemporary shopping centre in the middle and St Leonards to the west. We continue on to Rye this afternoon, an historic and beautiful town, situated on a hill, over-looking Romney Marsh. Enjoy the harbour side and rich selection of specialist shops.
