Today we include a three-quarter day excursion to Mont St. Michel. This picturesque medieval settlement is perched atop a rocky island at the mouth of the River Couesnon. The island is linked to the mainland by a causeway and dominated by an imposing Benedictine abbey. Wander through the cobbled streets, take a walk along the ramparts and visit one of the fascinating museums.

Morning departure to Calais for a late afternoon crossing back to the UK, returning to your original departure point this evening.
