Enjoy a scenic drive to the Kuang Si
Waterfalls today, stopping at the Hmon
Minority village en route for an insight into
the traditional culture of Laos. We’ll also
visit a bear rescue centre, where these
giants of the forest are rehabilitated in wellmaintained,
natural surroundings. On arrival
at the waterfalls, we take a walk through
the rainforest, where we will see many small
cascades of water, turquoise pools perfect
for swimming and the staggering main
falls, which drop 180ft. Enjoy lunch next to
the waterfall, with spectacular views of the
water as it crashes down.

It’s an early start this morning as we pay a
visit to the bustling open-air market on the
banks of the Mekong, admiring the superb
range of fresh produce on display, before
heading to the Vat Mai temple. We then fly
to Vientiane, the intriguing capital of Laos
situated on the Mekong, for an overnight
stay.

the gigantic That Luang Stupa, the national
symbol of Laos, as well as the Vat Sisaket
