Shrek The Musical Theatre Breaks

Hard to believe but before Shrek the Musical, did you know that Shrek started life as a storybook character created by William Steig? How things have moved on since then! Here's your chance to see Shrek (Nigel Lindsay) and his loyal steed Donkey (Richard Blackwood) as they set off on their quest to rescue Princess Fiona (Kimberley Walsh) from the tower that’s guarded by a fire breathing love-sick dragon – and not forgetting the tiny (but hugely evil) Lord Farquaad (Nigel Harman).

This gang of fairytale misfits, their tales and a score featuring the cult anthem 'I’m a Believer' will provide theatregoers with a guaranteed fun-filled night out when they see Shrek the Musical. This spectacular new production opened in London's West End at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane on 06 May 2011 and is based on the story and characters from the Oscar-winning Dreamworks Animation film and the books by William Steig.

Find out what happens to Shrek and his fairytale chums with our theatre coach packages to see Shrek The Musical including return coach travel, ticket to the show (upgrades available), transfers and hotel accommodation with continental breakfast. We also have ticket and hotel only packages.
