GHOST the Musical Theatre Breaks
Fans of the Academy award winning film have been filling theatres to the rafters since GHOST the Musical opened on 22 June 2011 in London's West End to rave reviews. Oscar winner Bruce Joel Rubin has adapted his original screenplay for the stage with Matthew Warchus directing, Dave Stewart (The Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard composing the score and stunning special effects by Paul Kieve (illusionist for Harry Potter & The Prisoner Of Azkaban).
GHOST the Musical is a timeless romantic classic about the power of love. Follow the romance between leading characters Sam Wheat and Molly Jensen (played by Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy) that comes to an abrupt halt when one fateful night, the couple are mugged and Sam is left murdered in the street. Unknown to those around him, Sam is trapped as a Ghost between this world and the next desperately trying to communicate with his girlfriend Molly through the phoney (and extremely hilarious) psychic Oda Mae Brown (played by Sharon D Clarke) in the hope of saving her from his murderer.
Those who have already seen the show have said that it takes them on an emotional rollercoaster with stunning performers, incredible music, bewildering effects and inspired staging.
