What do I wear?
The tour will take you both indoors and outdoors, so it’s wise to dress accordingly. Layers are best as these can be added or taken away as you explore.

What to take with you?
Take a camera to take snaps of yourself, especially the golden photo of yourself pulling a pint in the Rovers! As always, an umbrella is a good idea just in case the heavens open.

Will I be visiting the actual set?
Yes, the old set at Quay Street. The show has recently moved to its new home at MediaCityUK so you won’t see any filming, but you will be exploring the sets that were used up until December 2013.

What will I see on the tour?
Some of the dressing rooms used by the cast, a selection of costumes, interior sets including The Rovers Return and Underworld (the factory). You can then explore the outside sets including a stroll along the famous cobbles.

How long is the tour?
There are 3 tours each day, with each tour lasting between 3-4 hours. Ticket times are: 10:00 – 14:00 hrs, 14:10 – 18:00 hrs and 18:10 – 21:00 hrs.

Are there any catering facilities?
There is a café as you enter the tour to grab a bite to eat.

When is the best time to visit?
The tour is only open for six months between April-October 2014 before it closes for good. Make sure you book up your visit before it’s too late!

Can I buy any souvenirs?
Yes, the pharmacy has been converted into a souvenir shop and there’s a professional photographer taking pictures of visitors behind the bar in the Rovers, which you can also buy printed and framed.

What if I am in a wheelchair?
That’s fine, you can still visit the tour, though things may get a bit bumpy if you choose to go across the famous Corrie cobbles!

Walk down the 'Corridor of Stars' for a peak into stars' dressing rooms, watch rare footage and take a sneak peak of the interior sets for the first time ever. You can also see exclusive props and memorabilia from the show's history.

Will I meet the cast or see the filming?
Unfortunately the show has now moved to MediaCityUK so visitors won't be able to see the cast or watch any filming.

How long is the tour?
There are 3 Coronation Street tours each day. Tickets are for particular sessions which last between 3-4 hours as follows:

10:00 – 14:00 hrs
