Sometimes it can be difficult finding a suitable destination that caters for all the family needs but with the help of recent research from ABTA, it would appear you needn’t travel far for that perfect family-friendly holiday.
Out of the people who took part in the ABTA 2011 Consumer Trends Survey, at least one in five voted Spain as being the best destination for families. The UK came second in the survey and was particularly popular amongst the Over-55s. Holidays to the USA came third and this was due to the abundance of theme parks available in the country as well as the outstanding American hospitality. Other countries that featured in the Top Ten for family-friendly destinations were: France, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Cyprus and Australia.
