Tourists wanting to go nowhere fast are apparently queuing up to book their place on the popular fully-guided coach tour of the M25 with highlights to include stops at both South Mimms and Clackett Lane Service Stations. Other landmarks described by the guide will include Heathrow Terminal 5 and the Dartford Crossing.

It would appear that the £15 a head, 117 mile round coach trip is so popular that Brighton & Hove Bus and Coach Company are having to lay on extra outings just to service demand. A spokesman for the coach firm says that the incredible demand for seats comes from a complete cross section of people from motorway anoraks to older people, young people and petrolheads who know the road but don’t get time to enjoy the vistas. The tour debuts in March and passengers are fully aware that there could be delays, after all that’s what the M25 is notorious for!
