It would appear that MSC Cruises is planning to launch a ‘diet-themed cruise’ in the New Year that will be hosted by diet specialist Dr Pierre Dukan. People who choose to book this ‘diet cruise’ will be given the chance to shed weight and keep fit during the 11 night cruise taking in the sights of the Mediterranean and Atlantic. Even the shore excursions and walking tours of the famous cities will form an integral part of the diet programme so there’s no escaping!

The ‘Diet Cruise’ leaves Genoa on 30 Jan 2012 and will feature a team of expert nutritionists, dieticians and physicians that are all trained in the Dukan Method – there may also be an opportunity to meet author Dr Pierre Dukan as well. As guests board the cruise ship they will be given a Diet Kit as well as being advised on individual dietary needs and sports training programmes available to join. Guests will also be invited to join daily workshops offering advice on losing weight as well as taking part in culinary demonstrations, cooking lessons and themed conferences to learn more.
