The main reasons for this sudden change in travelling is simply due to the rising airfares and this means that they will opt to travel by car (or other means of transport) for at least one or more of their trips this year. At least 75% of those interviewed still wish to travel by car despite higher petrol/diesel prices with only 17% preferring to still fly.
