Laurent de Chorivit, managing director of Club Med, launched an all-inclusive report and said it was “commissioned to help us understand better our consumers and also examine the potential UK holiday market”. The research suggested that in the next five years, the premium all-inclusive market will double. It also showed that in the last five years, the
UK all-inclusive market has grown by 32% and that one in four all-inclusive holidays booked are premium.
Premium all-inclusive is defined as four and five star hotels that offer higher quality inclusions, such as gourmet restaurants and sports activities. The report showed that Brits viewed ‘value’ as the most important factor in booking an all-inclusive holiday, and one in ten Brits are looking to book an all-inclusive holiday this year.
