A report released by VisitLondon has found that more and more people are visiting museums, galleries & other London attractions, an increase of 8.4% in June, compared to the same time last year. The total number of visitors between April and June 2009 was up by 12.8% compared to the same period in 2008.
Paid attractions saw the biggest leap with visits up by 14%, whilst visits to free attractions had a 12% rise. VisitLondon believe that the beautiful warm weather & the increase of European visitors to the capital taking advantage of the weak pound have attributed to these figures.
