Less Brits flying in the UK

07/09/2011
It would appear that fewer Brits are choosing to fly to destinations within the UK according to a recent report from British Airways and the Iberia parent company, International Airlines Group.

The report has shown that there has been a stark fall of 21.5% in the amount of traffic on domestic routes in the UK and Spain compared to the same period last year. In contrast, both airlines carried 7% more passengers on flights to America, 10.4% more to Latin America and The Caribbean with 11.5% more to destinations within Asia and the Pacific. Traffic to Africa, The Middle East and Southern Asia was down by 5.5%.

Why not get away from it all with holidays by air? You’ve got some wonderful destinations on your doorstep whether you’re looking for UK coach holidays, European escorted tours or worldwide touring holidays. If you’re unsure on where to visit, give the team here at Door2Tour.com a quick call and we’ll be more than happy to help you.
