Called ‘Festive House Parties’, the five-day coach holidays offer the chance to get into the festive spirit and let others worry about the driving, cooking and washing up.

These coach holidays feature in their new 2012-13 festive/winter brochure and the breaks take place at nine Grand UK Hotels, starting from £189pp for five days’ half-board accommodation, travel and three excursions. The holidays depart on 10 December 2012 and 17 December 2012.

The new seasonal getaways are in addition to Grand UK Holidays ever-popular range of Turkey & Tinsel coach holidays, Christmas and New Year breaks, and escorted tours to UK and European Christmas Markets with more than 4,000 customers joining the traditional festive season each year.

As well as the new ‘Festive House Parties’ range, there is a new ‘Fete de Noue’ holiday in Jersey, where the islanders host a programme of festive activities and street entertainment. It departs on 3 December 2012 and costs £339pp. Also new is the Warner Festive Celebration (five days, £359pp) at Warner Leisure Hotel’s Nidd Hall Hotel – said to be where Edward VIII first met Wallis Simpson.

New Continental Christmas market holidays have been added, including The Markets of Lorraine & Alsace, and Fairytale Markets and Hanseatic Treats. Their range of UK Christmas market holidays has also been refreshed, with a choice of eight destinations, from Bath to Yorkshire.
