What will the coach industry look like in the future? That is the question being asked by Leger Holidays and coach manufacturer SETRA as they launch a national design competition. They have teamed up with design students from seven UK universities to explore how coach travel will evolve over the next 25 years.
The competition was launched in conjunction with Leger Holidays celebrating its 25th Anniversary and any design students in UK Higher Education can enter. Students will be asked to present their in-depth designs & rationale for a ‘coach of the future’ based on industry research, likely design & manufacturing developments and their own creative thinking. The prize will be a visit to SETRA’s leading factory & design centre at its Neu Ulm based headquarters.
