Disney heads to The Far East (again)!

15/04/2011
China will be opening its doors to its first Disney® theme park after construction finishes in 5 years time.

The park in Shanghai will be built on the 2010 Expo site and will cost approx. £3.3 billion. When finished, the park will offer two hotels, a lake and a shopping mall to visitors. Familiar Disney® faces such as Mickey Mouse and Goofy will still be around but there will be a distinct Chinese feeling to it.

Disney® is also planning to extend its Hong Kong Disney® Park, as it is apparently suffering losses and has received reviews from current visitors saying that the park is just too small compared to the others dotted around the world.

If you’re fans of Disney® but do not want to travel as far as China to visit the theme parks then you can check out our coach packages to Disneyland® Paris or perhaps head over the Atlantic and join USA touring holidays to visit the Disney® Parks in Orlando/Los Angeles. Find out what Disney® breaks would be most suitable for you why not give as a call on 0845 956 9686 and our friendly Door2Tour.com team will be more than happy to help you plan your trip!
