Comedy helps to boost tourism!

27/06/2008
VisitBritain is trying to attract more tourists to England by focusing on the country's funny side. A comedy map has been published showing some of the places where favourite comedy shows have been filmed.

Go on Coach Holidays to Billericay in Essex where "Gavin & Stacey" is filmed, Torquay which was used for "Fawlty Towers" as well as Turville in Buckinghamshire for "The Vicar Of Dibley" and who could forget Holmfirth as the setting for "Last Of The Summer Wine". A VisitBritain representative said that the aim of this campaign is to show that Comedy is an integral part of England's heritage and culture. It will also hopefully increase the 100 million Coach Trips that Brits take in their own country every year. Take a look at what else is on offer with these fabulous UK Coach Tours.
