In April 2012, Carnival will be hosting one of the first ever conventions that specialise in all things horror-related. The cruise, aptly named ‘The Tides Of Torture’ will feature stars from a range of “slasher” movies to include ‘Friday The 13th’ and Zombie’s Halloween’. The horror cruise lasts for four nights and kicks off in Tampa, Florida on the 2,052 passenger Carnival Paradise ship.

The horror convention is being organised by Dark Star Fantasy Cruises and will feature entertainment by national acts, movie screenings, a ‘scream-queen’ contest and a ‘Dance Of The Dead’. A whole host of celebrities from the world of ‘slasher’ movies will be taking part in the event including Doug Bradley who was “Pinhead” in the ‘Hellraiser’ movie series and Tony Todd who starred in ‘The Candyman’, ‘Final Destination 1, 3 & 5’ and ‘Hatchet 1 and 2’.
