The survey of 1,000 people found 65% of Brits have returned to the same holiday resort more than once. 11% had revisited the same resort six times or more. The survey also exposed the reasons why; 45% returned as they had a good time there, 29% returned as the holiday met all their criteria, 27% returned as they didn’t feel a need to go some else if they had already found somewhere they liked, 14% prefer familiarity and 12% found knowing what to expect where they are going reduced stress.
However 35% of those surveyed who confess to ‘repeat holidaying’, said that they would try a different holiday if they were certain to get a similar experience. Plus 36% said they are now taking fewer holidays than normal.
Is this you? Maybe instead of taking coach holidays to the same destination year on year, perhaps take a look at the variety of escorted tours available to some fantastic resorts in the UK, Europe and across the world!
