Avatar was the epic science fiction film of 2009 directed by James Cameron about human interaction with nature on the alien moon Pandora. The new attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in Florida will immerse visitors into the fantasy world of Pandora and allow you to experience the special effects of the film.

The project is estimated to cost approx. $500 million and is rumoured to begin construction in 2013. It is expected to take approx. 3 to 5 years to complete but when finished Avatar Land will feature amazing rides, attractions, shops and restaurants for the whole family to enjoy.
