Up and coming destinations for 2016: Peru and Costa Rica
Kuoni travel have claimed that Italy, Peru, Costa Rica and Kenya are among 15 upcoming destinations likely to entice British Holidaymakers in 2016.
This comes following a series of events including a new film launching set in Italy starring Morgan Freeman, plus the Foreign & Commonwealth Office are relaxing warnings about visiting Kenya. It is thought that beach and safari holidays will be high on priority for many Brits next year.
British Airways will be launching new flight routes to both Costa Rica and Peru mean that more travellers are likely to visit South America. Costa Rica has plenty of white sandy beaches and rainforests to explore, whilst Peru is famous for its wonderful Inca Trail and Lake Titicaca.
Theme park fans will be itching to travel to Orlando Florida, with two of the biggest theme parks Epcot and Universal Studios opening two new rides. Frozen Ever After will open in Disney’s Epcot and at Universal Studio’s Islands of Adventure: Skull Island – Reign of Kong will also be opening.
Antigua has overtaken Barbados as the most favoured Caribbean escape, thanks to a strong British Pound and a good offering of 4 star standard hotels.
Finally, the island of Kuramathi in the Maldives has two increased its popularity with a large number of new water-villas being built around the island.
