- How do I know which operator is running a tour?
When you have found a tour you are interested in, simply click the telephone button icon at the top right of the tour page, which will take you to a page where you can request the coach operator's telephone number. Once you have submitted the form, you will be sent an email containing the coach operator's full details and telephone number. Alternatively, you can search tours by coach operator from the
Coach Operators page.
- Is accommodation included in the price?
All the coach holidays featured on the site are package holidays so prices include accommodation (unless otherwise stated), with the obvious exception of day trips. You can of course request different types of room, and should you wish to double check this, please check with the coach operator by submitting an enquiry through Door2Tour.com, or calling us on 0845 956 9686.
- What is the accommodation?
You'll find accommodation details listed on the 'Accommodation' tab of each tour, although there may be rare occasions when the accommodation information is not present if an operator has not yet finalised a hotel. Should information on accommodation not be present, please check back closer to the time of departure, contact the operator, or call us on 0845 956 9686.
- Are there discounts for seniors?
Coach operators would say that all their coach holidays are great value as it is, although some tours may have a discount rate for seniors. Any senior rates available will be listed under individual tours in the pricing area.
- Do you have tours for single travellers?
While the very nature of coach holidays make them a superb choice for single travellers, there are tours on Door2Tour.com that are exclusively for singles (and in these cases, single supplements are usually non-applicable). Where a tour is specifically for single travellers, this will be indicated by a 'For Singles' luggage tag icon against the tour on the Search Results page.
- Are there discounts for children?
Discounts for children may be available depending on the age of the children, the size of your party and the room-sharing basis. As the level of discounts and child age classifications vary from operator to operator, please contact the coach operator or call us on 0845 956 9686 for more information about discounts on a particular tour.
- Are children allowed?
With the obvious exception of tours that are stated as for adults only, children are always welcome on coach holidays, although for infants it depends on the coach operator's own policies and the type of tour. If you have small children and would like to check if they are able to travel on a particular tour, please contact the coach operator or call us on 0845 956 9686.
- I'm an overseas visitor - do I need a visa?
Depending on where you want to travel to, on certain passports you can travel without a visa. Please note that Door2Tour.com is unable to help you with obtaining a visa, this is something you will need to organised yourselves. In the first instance you should contact the relevant embassies for help and advice on whether a visa is needed. We strongly advise that you arrange your visa before booking a tour to avoid incurring any possible tour cancellation charges.
- Do tours cater for vegetarian meals or special diets?
Should you have any special requirements, these may be queried with the coach operator running a tour via the website, or requested during the online booking process, although these cannot be guaranteed by us. In most cases, special requirements should not be a problem.
- Do tours cater for disabilities?
The facilities available will vary depending on tour factors such as the itinerary and accommodation included. Most hotels will have lifts and in most cases, rooms will be allocated or may be requested on the ground floor. In the case of limited mobility, motorised buggies can be taken on a tour provided the correct guidelines are followed. - How can I contact the operator running the tour directly?
Coach operators can be contacted about tour related queries either prior to or after booking via email, or you may request for them to call you back at a convenient time. Details of coach operators can be obtained from our
Coach Operators page, or you may also contact the coach operator running a tour by clicking the Email icon from your chosen tour.
- My final balance is due but I have not received confirmation - what should I do?
If you have booked a tour but not yet received confirmation of your final balance and the date is less than 6 weeks before departure, in the first instance please contact the coach operator to notify them. Most coach operators ask for the final balance to be paid up to 6-8 weeks before departure, so if you are not due to travel until later on you will not receive your confirmation until nearer the time. - What if I want to make a change or have to cancel my tour?
As your agreement is with the coach operator, it is advisable for you to contact them directly should you need to make changes to or cancel your tour. All featured coach operators have published terms and conditions; their contact details can be found from our

- What if the tour operator cancels a tour?
In the event that a coach operator cancels a tour that you have booked onto, they should notify you of this either by phone or in writing. As your agreement is with the coach operator, you should deal with them directly. All featured operators have published terms and conditions - you can find their contact details on our

- What do I do if I have a complaint about the coach operator?
If there is an issue that you would like to raise with the coach operator, please contact them directly from our
Coach Operators page.
- How can I save a tour and come back to it later?
You can save a tour and come back to it later by clicking the 'Add tour to my Wishlist' link from the tour you're interested in. You'll then need to assign a name to your tour and login (if you've used this facility before), or register (if you have not previously used this facility). Once you have logged in, the tour you've added will remain in your Wishlist for the rest of your session - you can come back to it any time you like!
