  •  What is Door2Tour.com?
    We are a marketing organisation promoting coach tours, coach trips, cruise holidays, worldwide tours, day trips and more for leading regional and national tour holiday operators. We then enable you to find information from that coach operator, however, when you book a coach tour your booking is directly with them, therefore we never handle your money. For more information please see our About Us page.
  •  Does Door2Tour.com operate the coach holidays?
    No. We bring together coach holidays from UK coach operators, who operate all the tours available on Door2Tour.com. A list of the featured coach operators can be found on our Coach Operators page. All the coach operators featured on the website are fully bonded and have many years' experience offering quality coach tours - please see their individual details page for more information.
  •  Is my payment secure?
    Yes. All coach operators on the site take payment through secure payment servers. This protects your personal details and your payment and conforms to all legal requirements.
  •  Are you bonded, is my money safe?
    All coach operators featured on this site comply with the Package Holiday Regulations so your monies are safe. As Door2Tour.com itself is not an agent, we do not handle your money and we are not bonded.
  •  How do I book a coach holiday?
    Booking online couldn't be easier! For step-by-step instructions on booking your coach holiday please refer to our How To Book page.
  •  How will I know when I've booked?
    Once you've completed the booking the coach operator will automatically email you a booking confirmation. If you have any queries about your booking after you have booked, please contact the coach operator.
  •  Do you sell any last minute coach holidays?
    You can find last minute holidays by checking the Special Offers page, or by searching the dates you are looking for using the Find a Trip box on the home page. Some coach operators finalise their holidays up to 1-2 weeks before travel, so this is worth bearing in mind if you are looking to travel within this timeframe. However, most coach operators can accommodate last minute bookings up to 2 days prior to travel. If you would like us to check last minute availability, please call us on 0845 956 9686.
  •  Do you only sell coach holidays?
    At present, Door2Tour.com specialises in quality coach holidays although these may incorporate air tours (a flight to your destination then a coach tour at the other end) and cruising. In addition to our popular range of UK and European tours, we also feature touring holidays to Egypt, USA tours, India tours and seasonal breaks like German Christmas markets and New Year breaks. Some tours are also available as 'Make Your Own Way'. Ultimately, we aim to offer all types of touring holiday!
  •  Do you price match?
    As Door2Tour.com is not a travel agent, tour prices are determined solely by the coach operator running the tour and therefore we do not price match. In some cases, tours may be cheaper when booking online - these will be indicated by a special luggage tag icon on the Search Results page.   •   Are all of the holidays shown available?
    Door2Tour.com offers true online booking, meaning that providing the tour availability matches the dates you wish to travel, there should be spaces. On rare occasions, a tour or date may be displayed that is no longer available due to it being sold out or cancelled by the coach operator, but Door2Tour.com endeavours to make sure that information on the website is as accurate as possible. Bookings are made all the time and so your booking is not confirmed until you complete the online process with the coach operator. Door2Tour.com cannot guarantee availability for tours that have been saved to the Wishlist that haven't been booked soon after checking availability.

  •  How do I know which operator is running a tour?
    When you have found a tour you are interested in, simply click the telephone button icon at the top right of the tour page, which will take you to a page where you can request the coach operator's telephone number. Once you have submitted the form, you will be sent an email containing the coach operator's full details and telephone number. Alternatively, you can search tours by coach operator from the Coach Operators page.
  •  Is accommodation included in the price?
    All the coach holidays featured on the site are package holidays so prices include accommodation (unless otherwise stated), with the obvious exception of day trips. You can of course request different types of room, and should you wish to double check this, please check with the coach operator by submitting an enquiry through Door2Tour.com, or calling us on 0845 956 9686.
  •  What is the accommodation?
    You'll find accommodation details listed on the 'Accommodation' tab of each tour, although there may be rare occasions when the accommodation information is not present if an operator has not yet finalised a hotel. Should information on accommodation not be present, please check back closer to the time of departure, contact the operator, or call us on 0845 956 9686.
  •  Are there discounts for seniors?
    Coach operators would say that all their coach holidays are great value as it is, although some tours may have a discount rate for seniors. Any senior rates available will be listed under individual tours in the pricing area.
  •  Do you have tours for single travellers?
    While the very nature of coach holidays make them a superb choice for single travellers, there are tours on Door2Tour.com that are exclusively for singles (and in these cases, single supplements are usually non-applicable). Where a tour is specifically for single travellers, this will be indicated by a 'For Singles' luggage tag icon against the tour on the Search Results page.
  •  Are there discounts for children?
    Discounts for children may be available depending on the age of the children, the size of your party and the room-sharing basis. As the level of discounts and child age classifications vary from operator to operator, please contact the coach operator or call us on 0845 956 9686 for more information about discounts on a particular tour.
  •  Are children allowed?
    With the obvious exception of tours that are stated as for adults only, children are always welcome on coach holidays, although for infants it depends on the coach operator's own policies and the type of tour. If you have small children and would like to check if they are able to travel on a particular tour, please contact the coach operator or call us on 0845 956 9686.
  •  I'm an overseas visitor - do I need a visa?
    Depending on where you want to travel to, on certain passports you can travel without a visa. Please note that Door2Tour.com is unable to help you with obtaining a visa, this is something you will need to organised yourselves. In the first instance you should contact the relevant embassies for help and advice on whether a visa is needed. We strongly advise that you arrange your visa before booking a tour to avoid incurring any possible tour cancellation charges.
  •  Do tours cater for vegetarian meals or special diets?
    Should you have any special requirements, these may be queried with the coach operator running a tour via the website, or requested during the online booking process, although these cannot be guaranteed by us. In most cases, special requirements should not be a problem.
  •  Do tours cater for disabilities?
    The facilities available will vary depending on tour factors such as the itinerary and accommodation included. Most hotels will have lifts and in most cases, rooms will be allocated or may be requested on the ground floor. In the case of limited mobility, motorised buggies can be taken on a tour provided the correct guidelines are followed. To check facilities for a specific tour, please contact the coach operator via the email icon on your chosen tour, or call us on 0845 956 9686.
  •  How can I contact the operator running the tour directly?
    Coach operators can be contacted about tour related queries either prior to or after booking via email, or you may request for them to call you back at a convenient time. Details of coach operators can be obtained from our Coach Operators page, or you may also contact the coach operator running a tour by clicking the Email icon from your chosen tour.
  •  My final balance is due but I have not received confirmation - what should I do?
    If you have booked a tour but not yet received confirmation of your final balance and the date is less than 6 weeks before departure, in the first instance please contact the coach operator to notify them. Most coach operators ask for the final balance to be paid up to 6-8 weeks before departure, so if you are not due to travel until later on you will not receive your confirmation until nearer the time.   •  What if I want to make a change or have to cancel my tour?
    As your agreement is with the coach operator, it is advisable for you to contact them directly should you need to make changes to or cancel your tour. All featured coach operators have published terms and conditions; their contact details can be found from our Coach Operators page.
  •  What if the tour operator cancels a tour?
    In the event that a coach operator cancels a tour that you have booked onto, they should notify you of this either by phone or in writing. As your agreement is with the coach operator, you should deal with them directly.   •  What do I do if I have a complaint about the coach operator?
    If there is an issue that you would like to raise with the coach operator, please contact them directly from our Coach Operators page.
  •  How can I save a tour and come back to it later?
    You can save a tour and come back to it later by clicking the 'Add tour to my Wishlist' link from the tour you're interested in. You'll then need to assign a name to your tour and login (if you've used this facility before), or register (if you have not previously used this facility). Once you have logged in, the tour you've added will remain in your Wishlist for the rest of your session - you can come back to it any time you like!

  • What do I do if I have a complaint about Door2Tour.com?
    We are very sorry if there is anything you dislike about your Door2Tour.com experience and we take all complaints seriously. However, in the event of a complaint for issues regarding the site only, please contact us via the Contact Us form. Since Door2Tour.com is not a travel agency and purely markets the tours, if you would like to make a complaint about a tour or you are unhappy with the quality of service, please get in touch with the coach operator directly.
  • How does coach travel affect the environment?
    Research shows that coach travel is the greenest way to travel on your holiday, with modern touring coaches emitting lower levels of ozone damaging carbon dioxide per passenger kilometre travelled than any other form of transport - including trains, private cars or planes. The Coach Tourism Council say that going on holiday by coach is a massive 20 times less polluting than travelling by car and forty times less polluting than air travel (*Based on fuel consumption of 10mpg for a coach carrying 40 passengers; car fuel consumption of 40mpg carrying two passengers and a Boeing 737-800 fully laden on a short-haul flight) – all the more reason to travel by coach.
  • What are the benefits of travelling by coach?
    Travelling by coach means no more long check-in queues or hanging around for luggage at the other end. You can head into the heart of busy cities and forget about negotiating the traffic, go to a concert and leave the drive home to somebody else or tour vineyards and not have to worry about the sampling issue! You also get to travel with others and often benefit from having your own guide.
  • I'm organising a group trip. Can you help?
