Superb fresh seafood, spectacular burnt red autumns and some of
America's earliest histories are some of the qualities that this part
of America has to offer on a New England tour, in addition to the
friendly natives. It was in New England that the Pilgrim Fathers landed
in the Mayflower in 1620, with a replica of the famous ship on display
where they settled in Plymouth.
Aside from the English parallels (English names, unpredictable
winter weather, well established Universities), tours in New England
afford beautiful lakes and forests, quaint towns and superb hiking and
cycling opportunities. State Massachusetts offers some of the richest history on a coach holiday to New England, with witch trial-famed Salem and historic Boston, while Rhode Island is home to a fifth of America's landmarks. Further west, the dazzling, insomniac city New York beckons on an East American holiday.
