Coach holidays for celeb honeymoons

As usual, this weekend I was sat down relaxing with the Sunday newspaper supplements and whilst reading I found out that there will be a number of celebrities getting hitched this year. A little idea then popped into my head, wouldn’t it be fun to suggest coach holidays that the celebrity couples could join for their honeymoon? I’ve cherry-picked a few below but it would be fun to hear your suggestions too as there are probably many places in the world that I’ve forgotten…

GHOST The Musical - is it as good as the film?

I have to be honest, when I first heard that they were going to make a stage version of the film GHOST, I immediately quivered with fear as I couldn’t possibly imagine how they would be able to adapt such a first class movie into a show for the West End, let alone make it into a musical. I mean the film didn’t have any singing in it apart from the infamous ‘Unchained Melody’ by The Righteous Brothers! But last night, on coach holidays to London’s West End, I found myself at the Piccadilly Theatre and as the curtain rose and the show began, I was pleasantly surprised and it just goes to show how wrong you can be…

We just can't get enough of France

Recent research has shown that Britain’s love affair with France appears to be blossoming again with bookings for coach holidays over the channel soaring by 31%! Many believe that we are playing it safe by holidaying in safe havens such as France because of the civil unrest, riots and political turmoil that have recently taken place in previous holiday favourites such as North Africa, Egypt and Tunisia – each noticing a significant drop in visitors. Brits are also turned off by the hike in air taxes for long haul flights preferring to choose holidays in countries that are much closer to home such as our neighbours with Italy proving popular too. At the end of the day, everyone is trying to reign in those pennies but still manage to afford a quick break away. With this in mind, we thought we’d take a look at some of the reasons why our love affair with France is blooming again…
